What parts are you still waiting for? What are you doing to the valvetrain and the rotating assembly?

Just make sure when you're putting it all back together that you use Honda RTV. The grey stuff. It won't ever leak. 1 tube is enough for 3 or 4 engines, so $30 a tube ain't so bad when you think about it that way.

Are you ordering all the parts or getting them through the machine shop? I got my bearings, rods, and pistons cheaper through the machine shop that I entrusted with the 4g63 machining than I could actually find myself. They preferred to do that anyway since it all had to be mic'ed and bore gauged in order to get the right stuff. What was really crazy is they got everything they wanted the next day and everything I bought took 2 weeks or was on backorder.

Are you boosting it?

Default Eric's Motor Update!

hey guys, just wanted to post these pix up for eric.. we yanked his D-series out the other night & sold it so that he can move forward with a B.. the project has been going pretty good, he purchased the b-series a couple months ago & what not & we should have it ready for summer. anyways, heres the pix of the d-series on the way out & the good bye shot!

from the time we pulled the car into the garage, we had the motor sitting on the ground in about 1hour.
