sohc v build...
im thinking of building a sohc v.. i want to do internals so that i can run a turbo.. i wanna atleast run 10-12 lbs of boost.. i was wonderin if n e one knows of a perfect set up from pistons, valves, springs, etc..one that is good and affordable..

IMO i would go with Crower valvesprings/TI retainers, Zex 59300 Cam, Zex cam gear (AEM, Skunk2, etc) Ferrea oversized valves (if you want valves?) P&P, JG Intake Mani.
For the Block, although you dont need upgraded internals for 10-12psi, you are being smart and doing it anyway. I like that. CP Pistons/Pauter or Manley Rods (Eagle H-beams would be good too) With that, you should definitely be set for high boost. As for Fuel Management, I would run a P28 ECU chipped w/ uberdata, Walbro 255 fuel pump, RC Injectors (440-550cc), and possibly a FPR and Fuel Rail. Then, anything else you want besides that. Make sure you do the proper things before boosting. Compression and leakdown tests, and replace your Timing belt (if needed), Oil and water pump, and run NGK spark plugs 2 steps colder! BRK7E11's i believe? good luck dude

If you were working with a D16Y8.
try
Zex Cam 59300
Zex's Valve Spring and Retainer Kit that's made for its cam
Ferrea Competition Race Valves
SRP 9:1 Pistons
Eagle H-Rods
BlockGuard (just for an added insurance policy)
Darton Sleeves (If you plan on boosting over 12psi later on)
B&M FPR
Walbro 255 FP
AEM EMS
550RC Injectors
STR Fuel Rail
Denso Irridium Spark Plugs, go 2 steps colder
I believe that would be a sweet setup. If I could do that I would, but I'm stuck boosting an Auto D16... and no one seems to make engine management systems for autos... I'd personally would go with the AEM EMS, you don't need convert to OBDI to run it.
