My Hawk pads work rather well with the Brembo blank rotors. Unfortunately, the stupid rotors rust within seconds of removing them from the box, and I live in a desert!

You know I'd have to agree I like the hats that don't rust cause they are powercoated black.

Used them at a novice driving school back in May and they held up great! And no fade unlike last year.
