PBR = Axxis pads.

I put PBR/Axxis Metal Master pads on my car with a brand new set of Brembo Blank rotors. Stops awesome with no problems.

I can't believe the horseshit some of you kids are spouting about brakes.

ALL BRAKE PADS REQUIRE BEDDING IN whether they're "street" pads or race pads.

we arent spouting about breaking in the pads... everything needs a breakin session. i was questioning operating temps.
and dont add any more ricer comments about a wing on a FWD...its really not necessary

Take off the Type R valve stem caps, greddy hubcaps, JDM washer fluid and we'll forget you ever signed up on this board.

Depends on how many miles you have. In most cases you don't have to but they are nice to have and might as well do it. But if you don't have the equipment to flush your lines and stuff it's too much of a hassle.

I have been warned. Ouch.

Sorry folks.. didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings. Maybe I should find a forum that doesn't get butt-hurt when they get slapped with a little bit of common sense.

Tryin to keep it real here.

On that note, I will say that steel braided lines are a pretty good idea. They won't decrease stopping distance, but they will firm up the pedal quite a bit. If you need to replace the lines go with these.

Superhonda forums would welcome you then. Go there.

I don't appreciate flaming in the Civic forum.

**EDIT** Not everyone has the same tastes as you or the next person. Which is why what we do to our cars is our own personal touches. If everyone did the same thing it would be one boring hobby.

Daily driver??

get the cheapo brakes $12 bucks for the front, at autozone, comes with life time warranty. I always wondered whats with the lifetime warranty, and they tell me you gotta bring in the brakes before they wear to metal and they will replace for free...

or you can have a garage do it for $300 bucks....

if you need rotors too they run from $10-15 each...

if you resurface disk/rotors its $10 bucks....

i always just go with new rotors cuz its faster, and i dont have to wait for them to machine rotors...

Its just a pain to get the rotors off the first time.... those phillips screws that hold them down are really tight.... they dont have to be tight at all when you put them back on..
