It's right behind the transimission. If you follow the shift linkage rod up to the tranny, there is a T looking metal peice that the shift linkage slips into and the dowel pin holds it in it's place.

I was at the dealership today having my exhaust looked at. they guy mentioned to me that I might want to replace my shift bushings. so i said that i had just replaced them 2 weeks ago. first he asked if i had replaced them with honda bushings or aftermarket bushigs. i said aftermarket. he said that might be my problem. so then i asked him if he honestly thought that the honda rubber circles were any different than the other companies rubber circles, so he said the kit i got included two bushings, but there was a third that i need that will fix the problem. does this sound true to anyone. i dont know whether to trusts the dealership or not. they're trying to tell me it will cost $640 to replace my exhaust with stock parts. it costs half that to go aftermarket, and i thought after market was more expensive.

Aftermarket can be more expensive if it's done wrong, but the dealership is more expensive than everybody. DSMers cut to the chase and call them "Satan".

If you're going to let them do anything to your shifter, tell them to save your parts if they're removing anything. If it's not as tight as a nun's ass when you get it back, then don't pay for the factory bushings.

Sorry about the late reply - been away. I got mine at the Honda dealership. I bought it and had it installed for around $30 Canadian.
