Default b16 into my 92 vx!?

Well I just got my 92 vx and had to go on a field exercise(am in military)but a buddy picked it up to swap in a b16 from a 92 edm my question is what problems is he going to have besides the e-brake cable being to long.He did the same swap on his but I'm not sure it was a vx like mine.He is well respected around here so I don't doubt it's going to go bad I just need to know what I can do to make sure it's all good

You should be fine, if he did this before with no troubles, it should go smoothly. The wiring harness is really the only issue, but it's not that big of deal.

Enjoy, and thanks for protecting our freedom

I thought "...to swap in a b16..."was fairly clear but yes for a swap I've conflicting reports about that years(92)ecu running vtec, axles matching, motor mount strength etc...he's getting me a really good deal($1800 motor, tranny, axles and other misc goodies of the edm/jdm persusion plus it will all be installed by the time I get off rotation)so you can see why I'd be cautious.I see those swaps going for upwards of 3500-4000 turn-key

I have a b16 in my CX the only issue was wiring the VTEC solenoid, I had to ghetto rig it directly to the ECU.

My motor cost $650, my tranny (ITR) cost $1200. I had to buy some axles and misc. other stuff, so it came just over 2g's. I love it, it drives as smooth as the stock motor, but it goes a lot faster. Passing people on the freeway in 5th is pretty nice.

might sound like a dumb question.. but when ppl usually talk about 'B16', are u referring to B16A2 or B16B?

B16A2, most people don't have the money for a B16B.
