In most cases yes you cannot over rev by driving it forward, but downshifting is another way of over revving the engine (for example your 5th to 2nd). Downshifting while the car is going 80mph in 5th to 2nd makes the tranny and engine shootup to like 11,000rpms. Rev limiter cannot stop a stupid driver.

skunk2 stage 1 cams are better and more aggresive then both i don't know who is telling u that they are not!, and i had them on my GSR with stock valve train and i never had any issues at all!, and also stage2 unless u plan on doing shit to your bottom end will not give u much more hp and your idle is not going to be as nice. SKunk2 stage 1 cams are your best bet, and u know if u want them were to find me cause i got them for sale!

check the specs on skunks website and then check the ones for CTR cams, if i am not mistaken and given that skunk2 isn't tellin me bull shit, skunk2 should be more aggresive, but hey i could be completely wrong and if so my bad.. but hopefully someone can clear this up cause reving a stock bottom end that high sounds far fetched and ctr cams being larger then skunk2 stage 1 cams
