over rev?? define.. cause the car can only rev so high, i have throw my car in 2nd from 5th one time and it held on fine.. although this was on stock itr valvetrain but still...over reving doesn't hurt anything..fuel cut off for a b16 is around 7999 something reving the motor is just that, your not reving it with gas so your not goin to blow it up, possible bent anything but even bending anything is pretty hard to do.. i have alot of friends who over rev..and beat the living crap out their small ass b16's.. and they run fine..
