Default camber kit help

I am about to put a tein ss coilover set on my '98 civic, but I really am not sure what to get in the way of a camber kit. If anyone has any info about brands or kits it would be greatly appreciated!

skunk2 and omni make front camber kits, but i'd be more worried about getting an alignment to fix toe, since that causes more tire wear than camber

i have the 1st gen skunk2 front upper A arm and the SRR rear camber kits. both have worked very well for me with no problems of slipping or failure. like civicracr said, i would be more concern of ur toe corrections as it tends to eat the tires out faster then camber wear. but i would highly recommend the skunk2 front A arm and for the rear, u can go cheap with longer bolts and washers or get a full dog bone replacement camber kit that has adjustability such as ingalls and srr.

Get the car aligned, spec on most hondas is out to -1.5, so your car may still be in spec and not need a camber kit. Camber does not eat tires, Toe is what kills tires fast, camber will cause the tires to wear unevently but it is a slow process and generally does not shorten the life of the tire.

You need a camber kit if you're going to be lowering it at all, in my opinion. I like things to be done right, and if you had seen the tires I just took off that were victim of this car's previous owner's lowering job, you'd know why.

On the inside edge, the tires are literally down to the steel belting after _maybe_ a year total of casual use. I have other tires I put on in the winter, too.

Sounds like Toe wear to me, did he have an aligment after he lowered the car?

I'm sure he didn't.

However, it was only on the inside edge that it was worn down.

Which is Tells me the tire was wearing from incorrect toe. Unless you have extreme camber (like -5+) you are not going to wear just the inside edge of the tire, that is from the tire being dragged across the pavement from incorrect toe settings.

It all depends on the drop. My neuspeeds are 1.8 front 1.6 rear and my camber is still within specs. There's nothing wrong with it being slightly off. It's all about toe.
