You need a camber kit if you're going to be lowering it at all, in my opinion. I like things to be done right, and if you had seen the tires I just took off that were victim of this car's previous owner's lowering job, you'd know why.
On the inside edge, the tires are literally down to the steel belting after _maybe_ a year total of casual use. I have other tires I put on in the winter, too.
