ok well i've come to the conclusion that my turbo is cunsuming oil & spitting it out in the form of smoke out the exhaust side of it.

compressor side seems to be perfect because i'm not leaking any oil onto that side. but i was out again with the car last night, & i did consume about half a quart of oil over the course of a couple hrs. of spirited driving. The turbo is still spooling like normal but i have a feeling that the spooling is about so change very soon if i don't change the bearings & seals.. the shaft does have a small amount of play now that it didn't have when i bought it a few months ago. I'm willing to bet that this problem was caused when on the last motor my dying oil pump would not be pushing enough oil to feed it & the turbo would get extreamly hot. Thus wearing the bearings & causing the shaft play, causing leakage of oil. & the exhaust side probably went first because of the amount of heat on that side vs. the compressor side.
