ive spoken with people and diagnosed my exhaust smell:
we've decided its running rich. besides changing plugs and the minor electrical components there is no way to "tune-up" an FI, non-carbuerated car, correct? Is it possible that my computer is somehow goofed, or is there some way to adjust it?

On the cheap, you could just get a fuel pressure regulator and dial things down a bit.
There's a couple of things that could be wrong with your engine, but there's no easy way to diagnose that.

BTW ~ Yours as bad as mine with the new exhaust? :chuckles:
i KNOW an a/f gauge is not so accurate, BUT it would at least give you an idea if you were WAY out of spec...
maybe bad 02 sensor..? is that a posibility.. the sensor might be bad and reading you are leaner than you actualy are.. so it may be dumping in extra fuel??? i would get a little bit more of a DEFINATE answer before changing the fuel pressure.. i mean look at it like this.. you have not done anything to make the car provide more fuel.. so something is definately wrong, and pulling fuel may help.. but it may also hurt (pulling too much)
fuel pressure gauges are cheap... does it smell at idle?? if so, check the fuel pressure at idle, while the smell is present..
