Default Misc. Engine Stuff

I have been looking for some misc. engine mods. So far I got aem v2 cai, dc 4-1 header, aem cam gears, msd ignition stuff in mind. What do yall think about the cam gears, friend of mine said they would be worth the buy. Also on the msd ignition, something I haven't looked too much into but would like to have. If I went looking for it at some site, what would I be looking for? Also, what are some other small stuff like that that I could invest in? All this is going on my new 99 b18c1 with 30K miles on it. Thanks yall!

the msd with the external coil adapter and a m6d? you also need a adjustable pressure requlator to fatten for the spark output, and the cam gear is good, you need a vac gauge and pretty much test drive it a billion times. You are on the right track.

Well so far I've got the skunk2 intake manifold and some ngk blue wires on the way.

On the AEM V2 intake, the one i gotta buy for the gsr engine will fit correctly in my engine bay right?

My friend said to go ahead and buy some skunk2 cams, valvespings, and retainers and then save for the turbo I want. Yall think that will be good? I figured I would get the skunk2 valvesprings, retainers, and cams since i'm getting the IM.

A VAFC was mentioned as well, would that be a good investment until i get a turbo?

if you're going turbo leave the stock gsr cams in. or go with itr's. ask westcoaststyle. save up for hondata when you go turbo.

Agreed.

Also don't waste your money on an overpriced, worthless intake like the V2, a header of any kind, or the MSD ignition. You don't need any of those for a turbo setup except the ignition for high boost applications where the spark cannot jump the gap.
