:bs:
you can ship your ECU out & have it chipped with a basemap in it for the same damn price as the FMU!
h:Still here... sorta...

I believe PHiZ on here can do it too.

h:I know how to solder chipboard. If I do tho. I'm going to ebay an extra P30 incase I fuck it up. But back to the setup. Yay or nay?

I haven't seen PHiZ on here for a damn long time... H-T might be a better place to find him. But yeah, I think that kinda stuff is right up his alley.Originally Posted by westcoaststyle

Uberdata instead of FMU & the setup is great!

Okidoke.
Walbro 255lph pump
AEM rail
AEM FPR
RC 440 injectors
60ar Garrett t304
One of those equal length ramhorn manifolds(whoever makes them)
Tial wastegate
Probably a remanufactured DSM intercooler
Greddy Type-S BOV
Custom downpipe and charge piping
The fuel pump is not needed for 6-8psi... I did one because I got it for free.Originally Posted by Omniscient
Well, I'm planning on boosting in september. I picked that month because I'm going to be working close to 50 hours a week third shift, so I'll have some pretty nice income from working at an offset printing shop. And since turboing is kind of expensive I thought I'd start shopping around now. I'd just like to know what you guys thought of the setup I'm looking at so far.Okidoke.

The AEM fuel rail and FPR will be a waste of money. Stock FPR and rail work great till 300whp.
No reason to dump a load of cash on RC440's... DSM 450's work great and are a 1/5 of the price.
A quality shorty manifold will be better than a random one that may crack.
I highly recommend JohnnyRaceCar FMIC's. You can get them for $150 shipped brand new.
Do you really need to spend $150+ on a BOV when a $20 one sounds just as good and works just as good?
Just IMO but you can save several hundred dollars depending on the setup you create. I spent $1300 on everything for my setup: https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...d.php?t=187652
I ebay all my stuff. I found the pump for 75$ new, the rail 100$, the fpr 60$, the injectors for 150$, I'll look into that manifold for sure, and I'll probably get that fmic. And the greddy bov I'm getting from a friend for 50$. I'm not saying those prices will be around forever, but so far the total cost I got was 13400-something and change with the DSM intercooler. I'm really starting to look at getting my head milled and redoing the valve train, cams, and shafts because my car is gonna be down all winter to avoid the snow. I still got time to decide, thanks for the input.
I thought I read somewhere that DSM injectors require some wiring or something of the sort. Is that true?

None
you need the resitor box with the clips
On permanent hiatus
I would skip out on the side mount DSM intercooler and get a front mount for best results.
