Window falling off track????
This week when I went to roll up my driver side window, it didn't seem to close all the way, in the upper left corner there was a two inch gap open. It seemed like the window was cock-eyed. It hasn't done it since Tuesday. Was wondering what happened to it. The Honda dealership wants to charge me $100 just to look at it, cause they have to take off the door panel to examine it. Is the window falling off the track or is it something else?
Thanks
Thanks
Yeah, just pop off the door panel, it's not that hard. My passenger side window popped out of the track a few years ago - the dealership "fixed" it back then, but it's acting like it might do it again. I wonder if this problem is really more widespread?
My window does this too...I hate that.
Take of the driver side door panel. There are two "portholes" on the lower portion of the door. Lower the window until your see the track. One is easily seen, the other is behind the speaker, so take the speaker out.
It's a 10mm bolt, an extension will make it a lot easier to get too. Loosen the bolts and play with the window. It's a pain the ass.
