Well I was wondering which paint is the best to paint a fiber glass body kit with? I heard PPG paint is like the best, but why is it the best? And i was wondering if anyone has ever heard of a paint brand that's known as "Crystal" or something like that...some kind of "secant paint". I'm not painting my kit myself or anything, I'm actually going to a shop and all. But i just want to know if i'm getting a good deal. Please help me out, thanks.

 

considering alot of shops use PPG paint it better be good. :thumbup:

 

PPG is basically what the OEM uses for their factory colors. The next step up is DuPont. Then after that is House of Kolors, IMHO. Naturally, the more paint you buy (for more coats) the more expensive it's going to be. I've heard of chameleon paint going as much as $350.00/quart.
