Changing over gauge cluster
Hey everyone,
My buddy has an 01 civic dx which doesnt come with a tachometer. We purchased an 03 LX civic cluster and it had the same plug shapes. The gauge faces themselves are different but same style plugs. We attempted to plug it in and use it but it did not work. Is there anything that we have to change with the wiring to make it work? Also is it possible to switch the odometer reading from the old cluster to the new one? Thanks guys

The odometer comes out of the cluster, remove every plastic panel, attached by clips, in front and then you should be able to gently push it out of the gauge through the back opening.
no idea as to your other problem, i believe the 00 - 05 gauges should al have same wiring.
