Are the Distributer in a 93 CX and DX the same? B/c i got a check engine light for the CAS and im wondering if it is the Distrbuter, being the wrong one. Please help

 

i had that once, reset your ECU and it will go away. its just a mathematical error you should never see. if its the same error i had.

maybe? i just re read that you had changed your distro.

 

I'm probably wrong, but that's not the sensor just behind your crank pulley is it?? Maybe that's crank vibration... I dunno??

 

im pretty sure it calculates mis fires, and if the misfire is off more than 30% it throws a code to your misfire sensor. Im almost positive you should never see htis light, and most people replace their distributer when they see it.

personally, i reset my ecu and i was fine, but if oyu frankensteined your car, that might be the culprit.

 

All i did was take off my CX head and put on a DX head, and switched out the cx ecu for a DX. I tried to reset it but it didn't go away. It still throws the Craqnk angle sensor out. I know that it is located in the Distributer.
