Default Some help with swap

I have been to a few forums and can't get an answer to a couple of questions. I am swapping a b16a from a 1993 acura teg with auto trans (jdm) into a 1995 honda civic dx..

Questions are..... can anyone show me, email me, or anything the wiring diagram so i can join the 93 teg motor with my 95 civic..... i am trying to complete this swap before jan 1, 05

torque numbers for the valve cover, cam gears, cam caps, main crank pulley and has anyone had a prob getting the t-belt tensioner installed back to the block and tightened down.

Please help,
Thanks,
Steve

hope you are not anywhere with emissions testing. Swapping in an older engine than the car will net you an instant failure in some states.

I can help with the 95 civic end of the wiring, but I don't have any JDM manuals. Will the B16 CRX manual work? Logically they are the same engine (OBD0 B16a), but I'm not sure.

Emissions testing ...... NOPE

Why did you pick that engine? The cam in that engine is different from the manual tranny B16A and has 10HP less then the manual B16A. Sport compact car did a articles a couple years back where they swapped an auto B16A (JDM) into an auto civic and I remember there were some wiring issues as well. Man, why did you pick that combo? Oh, and i never use a torque wrench unless I'm inside the engine. just make sure everything is tight and don't overtighten the valve cover bolts or you will break the studs.

Probably because it's easier to buy it all preassembed then buying a manual B16A, an auto B16A trans, torque converter, and flywheel and bolting it all together.

The reason I picked this is I got the motor & trans shipped to me for under 1200 & my wife has to be able to drive it as well.

I got the B16A and manual trans for my CRX for $900.00 shipped. Teach your wife to drive stick.

Or just keep going with this swap.
I take it this is meant to be a better engine swap, not a tweak it for all it's worth swap.

Good luck finding all that info.
HondaTuning might have that article archived.
