any way to clear up headlights?

get some mother's mag and aluminum polish and one of those cheap orbital buffers at walmart and spend some time on your lights and the oxidation should come off.if you have scratches you're going to have to wet sand first. and you should apply a good amount of the polish to the lenses before using the buffer. the polish is going to work through speed not heat so don't apply too much pressure. i hope this helps.

Why don't you get a belt sander and some 50 grit. Jesus christ, why don't you get some sulfuric acid and be done with it. Um, plastic polish is made for a reason. Unless of course you have dried carcas on your headlights or something.
