Default some more engine questions

ok, where to begin.....

looking at NopiOnline.com, I see they have the Jackson Racing superchargers for both DX/LX and EX.

How are the gains? Because depending on how much the LX supercharger puts out, if its over 160 hp, I may just get the supercharger and get e/h/drop and go sleeper

but....

if the gains are completely shitty for the LX engine, I may do the ex head/ecu/intake manifold swap, and again, go for blown power.

or would it just be better to swap a teg LS engine/tranny and go N/A for a while, and eventually go turbo?

I definatly don't want over 200 hp in this car. I would kill myself. I have a hard enough time driving my fathers '00 accord v-6 without hauling ass everywhere. I can just imagine what I'd do with all that power in a light-ass car.

cliffs notes: what would you suggest be the best and, if possible, cheapest meathod to get my ride running 14-15's in the 1/4?

sc + low displacement = bad idea.
Greddy turbo sounds right up your alley.

spray a 50/55 you will see a pretty big increase in power.

I fourth GReddy turbo. You might have to do something about that intake manifold though. (Actually all you need to do is custom the charge pipe)

well, I guess if I went greddy turbo, I'd probably swap the ex head and all before hand.

but this is all pre-planning. gotta get an idea of what I can do with this car, within realistic limits.

also, a question about suspension: with a 1.5" drop, would stock struts still give a decent ride? I only have 66k miles, , mostly intra-city highway miles, so they're still fairly strong. I know camber shouldn't be a problem.

well, I found a local place that will sell a ex/hx engine for just under $1000. Full engine. sound like a good deal? And maybe find an ECU at a pick and pull, along with a 93-94 ex valve cover for looks. and with the proper tools and the trusty haynes manual by my side, I can't imagine this being too difficult. It'll just take time, and money.

and then boost

this sounds like it will be a fun project

so what could the gains look like with an average level boost, and an ex motor? and would I be better off keeping the 14" steelies, or getting actual rims?
