I would like to keep it, but mine is definitely sucking right now. Dunno what's wrong with it yet. When I get some extra cash I'm going to get it recharged and hopefully that will fix it. If it's fixed after that I'm going to keep it. If not I'll just say F it and get rid of it.

Thanks for the tip. I'll check it out next day off I have. I doubt the thing has been cleaned in it's 11 year life so that's definitely a possibility. I'll catch this thread 2morrow evening. It's 12:30 here on the East Coast and I gotta be at work at 8am. It would be nice if all my questions were answered when I checked back in about 14 hours

my friend and his brother drove down to Newark in their dad's old POS Oldsmobile stationwagon and picked up his JDM B16, and they had no problems carrying it or transporting it. An outback should be fine for the job, and carrying it shouldn't be hard at all.

Thanks a lot. I haven't hit the hay just yet... but soon. Rockland County eh? I work in the Palisades Mall during my summer and winter breaks from school.

A B-series engine, with manifolds and trans, is a two person job to carry. They aren't that heavy.

Just remember that you're going to get the inside of that outback filthy. Wrap that rascal.

damn i lifted the d16y8 out of a civic without that much struggling and im only 5'10" 165lbs, they arent that heavy, id say about 120 pounds at the most for a Y8, with the tranny is a different story. you can lift the b-series with one other person easily.
