94 D16Z6 Chip?

just becuase someone doesnt have internals does not mean that a chip will not improve performance. interals make a diffrence, but the stock ecu, works great for daily driving but if you want more performance, it only does better to chip as long as you get a decent program, i RECOMMENDED to that guy the spoon chip cuase i use it. YOU DO NOT NEED INTERNALS FOR A CHIP. you just dont. ManTiS.. whats your engine, whats your 1/4 mile time?
That's my car in the signature; now quit bothering me. Why does my setup concern you so much? Wanna e-race me? I could lie about it, and so can you so what's the point? I'm not an internet racer.
Why would I waste my money on something inferior to what I already have? Why would I try something so ridiculous as 9100rpm on a D16 sohc vtec?
The eBay chip advanced your timing, spit in more fuel, changed VTEC, changed the redline, and badged it Spoon. Just because Spoon may have used this chip on their expensive built motors doesn't mean a sohc vtec will benefit from it. Also, I never said you needed internals to run a chip. The fact is that the factory ecu can handle the extra necksnapping 10hp your bolt-ons will generate. If you had the chip custom for what you ACTUALLY have on your car, then I wouldn't say anything at all.

yeah...... so I was just curious. and yeah I'd love to give my engine some internal goodies, but I have to save up for like another couple of weeks just to get this exhaust I've been wanting for so long. Of course it's always nice to think about the next step.

And again. it is easy, and if you think its hard, i live in bmore, send me your ecu with any chip anyone, and i will do it for free and get it back in the mail same day. i wont charge you either.

mine stock did anywhere from 4800-5200 depending on temp and oil pressure and stuff. vtec is like a lil boost, mainly you notice cause its like a temporary racing cam. so your car accelerats and revs much faster. its acceleration
