Sorry to bring this thread back up, but I just put a d16z6 into my crx and need to get a ecu yet... I wanted to have a higher rev limiter for later upgrades (after I recover financially from the cost of the swap), If I get an ecu that is already chipped with say a 9K RPM Limit, will it wreck the engine I just put in while still stock? I just want to be able to get a little faster without having to get right into forced induction.

I was looking at the Jun Racing chip if that helps.

Well, you're not gonna go faster by simply raising the redline. You're just gonna potentially damage the motor. At any rate, you effectively stop making power shortly prior to redline on a D16Z6.
