Ok, I ordered my B16A2 but....
how should I inspect it to ensure that it is the correct engine. Is there anything I should be looking for and anything that might be incorrect.

There should a marking on the block that says B16A2.

and if u got lucky they sent u the wrong motor and it says b16B lol

but if they jipped you its a sohc without vtec

It can be a B16A1 but be sure it says A2 on the the block.

it might say..
A20A
and pack a whoppin 98hp.
but it will prob say B16A2 as long as it aint from ebay.

find a 99-00 civic si and look at it's motor.
if yours doesn't look like this, somethings a miss.
