I am having a problem with my car stalling when I have the a/c on. When I put the car in neutral (with the a/c on) the engine will either stall or idel really low and bobble up and down between 250 and 650 rpm. When I turn off the a/c, the engine idels nice and smooth. If it makes a difference it is a d15b in a 92 civic. What should i check .....

just for the hell of it.. check your battery to make sure it's up to par! Most likely it's not the problem but i saw that the other day on my friends car & his battery was just about dead.. we replaced it & all was good again! may as well check the simple things first!
