Default How to Change Headlight Bulb

My low beam went out on me and I'm tryin to get the thing replaced. I can't seem to get it out of the head light assembly to save my life. Does it just twist and turn out or is it screwed in?

Do you have to remove the head light itself to get the bulbs out of it?

first pull out the electrical connection. Then remove the rubber gasket. There will be a spring clip that you push down and shift it down. That swings out of the way. Remove the bulb, replace with new bulb (being sure not to touch the glass).Reverse order to install. Good luck

Don't mean to steal your thread here, but I am having the same problem with my 5th Gen. Civic. I am trying to replace the bulb, but how exactly? I am not sure if I have to take the headlight completely off, or just go around it.

do you still have your manual? incredibly, there are actually some good instructions. i recommend doing the drivers side first. its much more of a pain in the ass, so when you do the passengers side, its a piece of cake :exnbp: no really, one time i tried to do it the other way around and i think it took me like an extr hour, lol

Exactly how you do it. You do have to depress the sided of the electrical clip to pull it off of the back of the bulb though. h:
