Car is off warranty now. I put the car in the paper and someone gave me $200 deposit on it. He will bring the rest tommorow. (Couldn't get insurance and plates on the weekend). So... I guess I will be looking for another car. I've had this coupe for 6 years now. I was looking at 2000 SiR (Si in US) but people seem to think they are at least 4-5 grand more that the regular Si (EX in US).

Si (SiR's) are about $8-12k where I'm from (Colorado) depending on the mileage. I'm sure that EX's are probably several k cheaper. What's your budget?

if your shift lever moves... and since u have 100k on the motor...
time for new engine mounts!
the swinging shift lever indicates the whole motor shifting during load-no load and moving the shifter with it

Well.... I almost got screwed out of my car! The dude brought in the Bank Draft. I told him that I would like to go to the bank with him to deposit the money and I will give him the title there. I hopped in my car, he went into his truck. I drove first, then he disappeared. I waited at the bank for like an hour! No show. I called the number he gave me and it was someone else number?!! Ohh well, day went by and no phone call or nothing. I still have the $200 cash he gave me. Weird or what? I don't know if the bank draft was legit or not?

I re-listed the car again.

Well, I finally sold the car today. Guy took it for an inspection and it passed everything.Good for him. I guess I will be driving my 99 CX for a while until I find another car. I was thinking about 01 GS-R or a 01 CL-S or a 01-02 Accord coupe.

well I checked my car tonight and the shifter doesn't jerk like I thought it did.. It's just the car itself jerking which is normal when you let off throttle in first gear, but the shifter doesn't jerk at all... just thought that I would share

I guess someone else will worry about it now. Although when I drained the tranny fluid last time, I saw quite a but of metal (I think bras) shavings in the old fluid. Could be the tranny was getting a little worn out.
