I like my CX. Maybe someday I'll build it for "ludicrous speed".

Nah. Probably not. I'll probably sell it to some lucky bastard.

Heheh. I guess you're right. I did run a 17.95 with the wrong injectors/exhaust/o2 sensor. I may very well... already be capable of ludicrous speed. I should take this thing back to the track to see, but I keep doing other crap to it instead.

You barely can.

Civic hatches are all lightweight, driver-friendly cars... but because they're all so underpowered, every bit of weight you can save will help. Fortunately, most Honda engines with hydro trannies bolts into the 5g hatches without headaches, so you can make it whatever car you want. If your plans include a B-series swap, get whichever one suits you the best because when you add torque, the weight of power accessories matters less unless you're a competitive racer.

Edit: The Si's do have better brakes and suspension for supporting a B-series swap.

I love my si, but I laugh when people talk about luxury. Mine has no power windows, power locks or a/c.

I love the 4 wheel disc brakes and the power moon roof.

I wouldn't trade it for any other hatch.
