spray your vacuum hoses with wd-40 if the rpm increase slightly then you found your leak.....when is the last time you changed your fuel filter?

are you running a motor swap, or just the stock D series? if you are swapped did you change to a B series fuel line.....need more info

small vacuum leaks are kinda hard to detect.. the proper method is to use propane while the engine is running and spray it around the seals of the TB, intake mani, hoses, etc and it will make the engine bog down (running to rich from the propane)... but most people don't have the tools to do that. I've never heard of the WD-40 method but it seems very similar to the propane one so I think it would work. It could be both the pump and/or filter but I would change the filter first, especially if you don't know when it was last changed.

A lot of hondas puff white smoke when you shift hard and floor it, I've noticed most of the higher revving ones do that. I'm not sure exactly what the reason why is however. Might be related to the valvetrain. I think we need someone with more expertise to help you out

oh that is the kinda information that we needed. I bet you are just running lean because the ecu isn't designed exactly for your engine.. maybe you have a slightly different CR or something. What ecu are you running? p28?
