Default Getting a 00 Si

I went car shopping today since my girlfriend just bought a 03 Si. I feel so lucky because i was wanting a Gs-R or an Si....luckily i went to a dealership and they had a 00 Si stock 45k miles, new tires. This car is freakin clean. No damage. They were askin $15k......i said hell no...NADA was $13.6K.....so i said $14250 taxes and title out the door, full tank of gas. And guess what...I am goin over their tomorrow to do paper work .....when i find a digi cam......i will post pics.

I don't know why you guys get spanked by GSR's, they weigh more than the civic. I never get spanked by a GSR, I'm always right next to them at 130mph. I raced the fun drags every weds night and it's so close on quarter mile times it's not worth the agruement. It's always around a tenth or two of a second. I think that ppl with GSR's know they spend more than someone with an 99-00 SI and are mad cause the cars are almost the same. I hate the GSR, it's too expensive, too ugly with the USDM front end, it has Abs... I think I'd rather buy an SI put the other 5k -6k I saved in a turbo kit and spank gsr's all day

The torque is almost the same it the gsr, can you feel it? I drive my si to work then test drive gsr's all day. It's damn near the same. Lets see it has a longer rod and a two stage intake mainfold, wow big difference there. I should have gotten on the bandwagon and spent 5k more for that. what's that worth again? 10-15 ftlbs of tq? All I'm saying is for the extra money spent on a gsr you could upgrade the si and have a faster car. I look at teg's like engine donor cars. That's it.
