Default Vtec D15b

Ok I hooked up the vtec on my old coupe. It has a D15B I know I did it right cause the 2 pins on the harness where not being used. And I knew they went there they where A4 and D6. Now I kinda feel a diffrence but I don't really think so Im kinda caught in the middle. Can you hear the VTEC open on that little D? I have a muffler and Intake if that helps.

supposedly the d15b is very similar to the d15z1 vx motor (which I have). I can't notice shit, never have :dunno:. I have an exhaust and a DIY CAI.

you should install a VTEC light just to be sure it's working. :db:

Are you throwing any codes? What ECU are you using?

is the vtec on the d15b the same kind of vtec on the HX models...economy vtec? where one valve on a cylinder runs shorter than the other one and only both run the same length when the vtec kicks in?

Well Im using a P08 ECU. And Umm nah no check engine light comes on but there is a sensor F'ed up behind the Intake Mani. But I know it has nothing to do with the VTEC. Well we ordered a vtec controller. One of those spoon things. It comes with a built in VTEC light. Lets see what happends when we get to controll the vtec. What's the lowest you can go b4 crossing over to the non safe side. Thanks for the help.

P.S. The only reason I think it is opening is because B4 we could get up to 80MPH on this one Highway and now you can go 100MPH with no problems. But who knows.
