JDM D15 -vs- USDM D16Z6
The JDM D15B is basically a stroked z6.
It has the stronger internals similar to that of the d16, just less the displacement because of the slight stroke to it. I am currently running one turbo'ed and its a great motor.
Also. The parts are no problem. I use my z6 distributor, my z6 intake manifold, and everything is a perfect match. I chose it over a used z6 because it was 80 bucks cheaper and had about 100K miles less on it.

I just got the motor, not the entire swap.
And they never have any 5 speed starters!
