I had a B16 in my car, I just lost the motor because of improper building! Im going to go with a b16 block sleeved to 84.50mm which is like a b20 so well see what happens wit that! I never got to run the car at the track but my buddy's times were like 15's with the motor running with a little coolant in there and TOTALLY shitty & Untuned

ls tranny is fine for turbos...just a little long for NA motors.

the best tranny for your money is probably the b16... the best oem tranny period is the newer jdm itr trannys with lsd..

it depends on your budget

I would think the LS w/ an ITR lsd would be the best. Possibly even a GSR, but a jdm itr has such short gearing, it would kill your gas mileage.

94+ engines aren't so much "better" as they are easier to swap in. You ideally need a 94-95 B18B swap, however any 90-93 B18A or 94-01 B18B can be used with a little work.
