Default 1998 honda please help!!!

i have a 98 civic ex with a d16y8 it has intake, 4-1 dc header, exhaust, aem fuel rail, b&m fuel regulator, unorthodox flywheel, act street/strip clutch.
The block has block support, arp bolt-kit for rods, arp head studs, crank grind, decked block, bore and honed block, balaced, floated rods, surfaced head .020" and srp pistons 10.5:1. some other stuff cant remember.

the problem isnt happening constantly but when i hit the gas to accelerate i will rev but suddenly bog and sound like it isnt running on all cylinders. Also getting an eradict fuel pressure on my air/fuel ratio gauge. It is not throwing any codes and has run ok on a hx ecu havent found another p2p ex ecu to try.

ANY THOUGHTS OF WHAT IS HAPPENING ANYONE?

It seems like a problem with your fuel system- maybe fuel filter is clogged, low fuel pressure, or a leak in your fuel ignition system. Try going through and checking all your components of your fuel system.

fuel pressure is fine, plugs are firing i just put some MSD wires on it was doing this before that. could it be the ecu that would throw a code right?

PS check your plugs, wires, dizzy, and ignition stuff. Then start foolin' with the fuel.

I would do a compression test if i were you, if it doesn't feel like it's firing on all 4 cylinders it usually isn't. BTW why the hell do you have a dc header instead of a lovefab turbo manifold on that motor if it's already built?

And i better not hear anything about him having 10+ compression so he can't turbo. All the fast turbo honda's (400+whp) all run high compression pistons on purpose (help spool up, increase flow). Besides when you're sleeved, decked with ARP studs you can take it all day long (provided enough fuel and good tuning)

But yeah, you should check your dizzy and ignitions stuff first, then check fuel

A MSD 6A is plenty good for spark, just make sure you have good spark plug wires/plugs and fuel is a whole nother story.
