Problem with window
I have a 99 Civic 2-door. The driver side window will not roll up or down. instead of going where it should be going, it is going behind the side view mirror and is pushing it out. towards the back of the door there is about a 1 inch gap between the door and the window. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

That happened to me once before. Your window is basically out of its seat inside the door. What causes this? The rubber that protects the edges of your window has become dry and the window does not slide as easily along it.
What you need to do is remove your door panel, remove your window, lube the rubber all alond the contour of the inside of the door with....i think its some kind of dielectric grease (clear grease that does not dry up). Apply the grease, reinstall the window in its seat properly and reinstall the door panel. Should take you 45 minutes to 1 hour max, if you've never taken you door panel off before.
Good luck!
