LET ME JUST CLEAR SOME SH*T UP I am the mechanic that put that motor in and yes the knock sensor is not wired and yes the idle is **** but driving the car you would never know it. The car pulls damn hard through the gears and what civondubs regretted to inform the rest of you is that he has been driving stick for oh about 2 weeks and was at the track for the first time ever. It is all in the driver and the car has allot of potential given the right driver. The motor is mechanicly sound and running to its full potential another thing is that the stock clogged exhaust might have somthing to do with his sh*t times or that the camber is so far off on the front wheels that about half the tire is touching the ground or possibly the full tank of gas????. so dont think that the car is runing crap times because of the motor itself, it is running to its full potential, and yes vtec is engaging, trust me if the motor was not running right it would be damn hard not to smoke the tires in the first three gears.

why dont he let you run it, im curious what a "good" driver might take home...i want to see how bad of a difference there is.
