Arite. I've got 2.5 inch piping going all the way down until the very end where the piping bends and meets the muffler. I was in serious need of a muffler so I had to resort to using the stock 99-00coupe Si exhaust on my hatch. Took it to the muffler shop and they bent some 2.5in piping and welded it to the stock si muffler. I dont want 2.5in piping just to have it bottleneck when it meets the stock si piping so I want suggestions on mufflers. I dont want to buy a full cat back exhaust cuz.... I already got 2.5in piping and I dont want to put that to waste. So I was gona get just the muffler and take it to the shop to get it welded on. Does anyone know of some good mufflers that aren't loud? I wish they sold something like the Apexi WS or magnaflow w/ just the muffler..... anyoen got suggestions? I dont want something loud liek the N1 style mufflers.

 

imo 2.5 is a bit big, should of went with 2.25. go wit es oval. popular sleeper exhaust. greddysp, apexi ws, and rsr exmag are good picks with me.

 

honestly, there is no substitute for a Pre Made mandrel bent catback system - however, a manaflow muffler is a highquality piece that will work with your application
