I don't think it's the timing cause it runs fine if I use starter fluid .
I had the same prob with mine, it would run when sprayin fluid in.....turned out that the cam had skipped over a couple teeth on the timing belt itself.
Yeah, its called Jumping time, that has somthing to do with timing?......... Check to see if it jumped time. If it did then it is really bad to run your engine like that, I have seen a 92 Prelude jump time on the track and it messed it up bigtime... It burnt out the valves in the #2 and cracked the block..
