bringing it back up. More thoughts? Right now, I'm sorta leaning towards forgetting about the turbo and letting him sell it. but the jury is still out.

reviving this one.

Basically, I've decided to give up on the turbo... just too big of a hastle considering its not even exactly what I'm looking for :happysad: Oh well... Josh, I'll talk to my buddy and see whats the deal with the turbo.

But since the thread is still around, I'd like to move it in a different direction:

As I mentioned, I was considering doing either a high compression (11:1-11.5:1) all motor setup, or a lower compression (10:1-10.5:1) for nitrous. The motor will be sleeved either way (i'm overboring ), so the relative weakness of the B20 sleeves wont be an issue. What do you guys think?

A 10.5:1 crvtec certainly wouldn't be slow off the bottle, and would be wicked on the bottle. But of course, all-motor is simpler, cheaper, and just plain . Since I live at high altitude, tuning will be a bitch, plus we have shitty gas here, so I don't want to go past 11.5:1.

More input?

Well if you have low octain gas there I would go with the lower compression crvtec route. Like you said it will be plenty quick and then you always have the option to either put a supercharger or nitrous on it. :dunno:

well I'm pretty sure 11-11.5:1 would be OK, just no higher. If I lived at sea-level and had decent gas, I'd go for 12-12.5 :naughty:
