I agree on going for shop-made customs, but where are you going to find a place that mandrel bends? Because to have a kit welded up out of radius tubing is gonna cost $$$ unless you know somebody... I'm on cheapo crush-bent aluminized (gotta love Cali, where bare steel would last 10 years :wiggle: ), no buzzy sound, and less than $125 spent.

To have a radius tubing stainless exhaust welded up... may as well buy off -the-shelf. At least 'round here. All yous guys seem to get stuff cheaper for some reason...

i bought the rear end for my exhaust and just brought it to an exhaust shop. (which is why it looks the way it does, im getting it fixed soon) 2.5 inch from the cat back. it was ****in loud. so i had them put in a 4 x 17 inch high flow resonator, and damn does it sound good. so far my exhaust has cost me a lot. but thats cause i keep changing it and making it better. i like mine more than the factory Apexi N1 catback exhaust

Here in MD, I know several shops with mandrels. Maybe it's so common because it's muscle car heaven out here. Hmmmm.
