It has a bunch of decals with the TypeR logo on em, and also on the old shoulder pads. But how do i truly know its a TypeR? I dont wanna be riding around sporting wrong decals, like all those people that stick the Vtec decals on their non Vtec cars.
My car is a 94 cicvic hatchback btw...

Its not a TypeR man, sorry. But what model do you have anyway? It should say on the back next to the Civic decal, otherwise look at the VIN # or the engine code (engraved just to the left of the header) and let us know what they say
If you don't plan on running the car for awhile say 1-2 weeks I would disconnect the battery, put the car up on jackstands (to prevent flat spots on the tires), let air out of the tires (say around 25psi) and pour some Stabilizer (like someone mentioned) in the gas tank to prevent the gasoline from turning into globs of goo. Make sure all fluids are topped off.

Atleast you have the right mentality and want to get rid of the fake badges.
Mine sat for 5 months with a busted tranny and clutch, I changed the oil, filter, and had to recharge the battery... other than that it was fine. I do agree with the tire thing though, I bought four new tires though so I didn't experience that but I've heard of it happening.

ok i have decided to run the car about every day around my parking lot (pretty big lot) a few times. And im getting rid of the window emblem that says TypeR and im gonna look for something nifty to replace it
. I already got rid of the TypeR shoulder pads and got some civic ones. Ill look for the text on the header tomorrow (its dark now), cause theres nothing but the "H" on the back of the car. Thanks for your help fellas.

You're going to need to run your car about 15-30 min each time you do run it to just get everything circulating and warm. Also, if you want your alarm to work don't disconnect the battery.
