An older DOHC ZC will bolt in to a 5G with little work, however they use some weird distributors. If your distributor is only held on by two bolts, it's probably the old blacktop rewired with a grey plug harness.
rite now my b16a first gen has all the plugs from a 95 eg because I swapped over the wiring harness to convert the motor to obd-1....I am sure all the guy did was take the obd-0 zc motor and swap over the harness the dizzy and the injectors....viola grey plugged zc motor.

The head has trhee of those circular # on it
(0/5) _ (2/3) and one with an arrow on the right and nothing on the left.
Are these the # you need?

Odd, one of those should have been a number (8|3) or higher.

I guess you don't have a digital camera? I'm really curious to see if this is really a 5G engine.

This motor is edm too, its in the 1.6 16v badged crx. D16 twin cam motor with 124hp.

Yeah, the 1.6i-16 used a D16A8 or D16A9 depending on whether it had a catalyitic converter or not.
