Default insurance called

$6400

or $5700 and i keep whats left of the car

:happysad:

so the debate is, take the money and cut my losses or try to part it out? i have nowhere to put a car like that, and i would need to make a profit if i intend to part i out, so i either need $700+ dollars from whats left, or get some composite of money and reuse value if i get a new sol. if things can be sold fast enough (today, tomorrow) they can just be picked up from the yard off the car itself. my father expressed intrest in the rims and new tires (97% tread dunlops) that would run about $300-400. bakeoff, i remember you expressing intrest also in the wheels.

what else is there:

- 1.6L VTEC DOHC
- targa top (isle green)
- seat green (maybe two, the passenger is muddy)
- floor mats (green/red "del sol: combo)
- trunk
- 2 doors w/ windows
- a set of seals
- front windshield
- rear window
- dashboard and all other interior parts (most are good/ok, some are muddy, all the crap was removed)
- exaust maybe?
- 1 rear quarterpanel (driver's side)
- stock radio

theres more, i just cant list it off the top of my head

or if someone just wants to buy the whole thing and take it themselves from the place. its all near raleigh NC

so is it worth it? i have no real mechanical experence at all. we have nowhere to put it really, but its also maybe i could get an S or something and drop the VTEC in? if i can get a good response really quick somebody may be getting a really lucky deal here.

that front windshield isnt coming back out, its glued in and will crack when you try to pull it...

it has a DOHC engine, of course you can make your money back just by selling this, you can also probably make your money back with the other parts, it just takes a little time to get rid of some stuff(like i still have a top and hood in my garage and i started parting my shit out in June) actually, i still have the whole carcass of my old sol in my garage, haha

MAybe we can work something out, like I'd pay the difference to buy back the car plus a few hundred, and I come pick up a bunch of parts if not the whole car! lol

ok, ill rephrase that....it can come out but it is very likely it will crack(that is what the autoglass specialist told me as he was putting the new windshield in my sol and the old one cracked in 2 more places as it was being removed)
