good finds on there everyday.
and its VTEC, not VETC
Yep,
The 300ZX is an awesome car, but mid 90’s and up model ? Only if you have an extra 15,000$ or so…
I agree about the handling of the Stealth, but power for $ its hard to beat, it has the depreciation of an American car with the engine of a Japanese sports car…
And don’t even get me started on the 320hp R/T turbo…
The handling and power of the Eclipse/Talon AWD is not bad either…

alright heres my input, and the honest one.
del sol - you love the car go for it
240 - played out as bad as a civic
300zx, yeah its an awesome car, but not worth it. if something goes wrong, your ****ed, those things are impossible to work on, also insurance will eat your balls.
lude-good car, my friend has a 94 si
all in all, go for another sol...or you could get an S, and hop a b18c or c5 in there

delSol... fun car, ect... you have already had one
240... RWD and lots of mods for it
3000GT....heavy as hell, and a mother****er to work on.
300ZX....don't bother unless it is a twin turbo
Lude....not my cup of tea
AWD DSM.....decent choice, and lots of mods for them. prolly would be my 2nd choice given your budget.

What about a Saab turbo (9000?), or BMW 3-series? Both can be had under 7 grand. Same with certain Mazdas... although older RX-7s (no offense Kai) are very tricky to work on and somewhat troublesome.
arent both saabs and BMW's really expencive to maintain? i know we just keep on throwing money at our mercedies. they would be safe though, but old... it would be a shift from a honda, thats for sure.
Saabs are crap for reliability and their transmissions WILL break and WILL leave you stranded. I have a friend that has had 3 [two caught on fire] and the third one just had a new tranny put in, but it's sitting due to an oil leak. My other friend has had two. The timing chain broke on this last one and the tranny locked up on the first.
I don't see how the 240 is so 'played out' considering there are probably two in my whole city, while there's at least 7 Sols. The car is RWD, awesome handling, good power, good gas mileage, roomy, etc. I do agree, it's nowhere as good looking in the front as the Sol.
Don't buy the 3000gt. It's a FWD crap boat. If you want something like that get the 300zx. RWD, awesome handling, 222hp, and pretty reliable. The problem comes with insurrance and the fact that it takes a lift just to change the air filter.
Another good choice is a VW GTI VR6 or Corrado. They are both great cars.
Personally, I just don't go for Mitsubishis or Mazdas due to their records. It all depends on what you're looking for. You can get a muscle car that's balls to the wall power, but can't handle nearly as well. I want the 240SX, because it's a good reliable daily driver with the edge in handling. If you're driving even 106 torque doesn't mean anything if it's way up at 6800rpm. The point I make is that as a daily driver, lower end torque is more usable torque.
