Default manifold cracked......

my check engine light was on so i was going to take off my o2 sensor and i noticed my manifold had a crack on it... should i just replace it with original manifold? any suggestions? also would it make a difference if i got manifold off of a automatic or manual tranny vehicle? would the manifold crack because it was old or will it keep cracking if it gets wet? i have a aftermarket hood that has vents located above manifold... could this be causeing my manifold to crack. and will it keep cracking then because of this? let me know.. suggestions... please..

Are you talking about the exhaust manifold or intake manifold?

Do the make a header for the LX since the cat is incorporated into the exhaust manifold?

I had the same problem with my 96 Civic LX. This is why Honda extended the warranty on the emissions system to 100K. Check with your local dealer and ask them. You might get a new one for free like I did. I got a new manifold-cat. converter, and both new O2 sensors. THANK YOU HONDA!!!

No, but you can put an EX header and CAT on. You only have to wire up the secondary O2 so it will reach from the cat position. h:
