hell no!!!! ebay has them things for a crazy price....... theyre stupid....

 

I gave my friend my EX header when his LX header cracked. When you bolt everything up the EX header alone will reach all the way to the cat-back on the LX, leaving no room for the EX cat. If you want to fit a cat you're going to need to cut and weld a flange onto the cat-back of the LX.

 

wow.. CAn you crack anything if you tighten bolts to tight on mani? do you tighten them tight tight or just enough?

 

You're supposed to use a torque wrench when you tighten them down.

 

oh damn..... what are the torque specs?

Would the mani smoke for any reason? would it be wd 40 burning? mine is smoking... i sprayed wd 40 on it though.. let me know..

 

Yes WD40 will smoke if sprayed on the mani

I've got a stock manifold from a Y7 if anyone is interested. I had it replaced by the dealership on warranty and within 2 months I replaced it with an ex header and cat. I'll sell it for 75$ + shipping just to get it off my hands. It's only got like 5K on it. If anyone is interested I can take pics and send them by email.
