If memory serves me correctly, they have to be nickel welded. The manifold is made from cast iron. Any kind of brazing won't stand up to the heat or vibration.

shit on my 96 del sol its also cracked and its F**&^% sounds Like S&*^ when its cold and when it gets hot the metal expands and closes the crack and you can bearly hear it .... but its anoying
