ghetto setup $ for $ can be good, provided the person doing it knows what they're doing.
you just need to keep in mind that you cant have any boost leaks, and you cant have any leaky oil. other than that....a ghetto setup isn't too different than a kit.

Are you selling your entire turbo kit? If so, I might be interested

well no-one really wants to spend a lot of money on a 1.5 non-vtec anyways, so it's a cheap way to make some pep. And it's a better expnediture than I/H/E?stickers.

Some hints:
HF manifold with adapter plate
DSM td04 turbo
DSM 450CC injectors and resistor box out of an OBD0 honda
saab viggen intercooler, or starion intercooler
DSM BOV.
jc-whitney u-bends for piping.
That leaves you with oil and coolant lines to work out.
and I program ECU that will do boost managment, with no fmu, no check valves, nothing.

It can be done, and it might not look pretty, but it'll make the car a little more fun to drive.

Just get an engine swap. An h22 will automatically pull you up to 200HP.

I know a guy with an H22 w/ Place Racing mounts and cams running 13.7 in an EG coupe... It's nice and really has some torque.

the guy wants to spend 1000 bucks or less and you advise him to buy an h22 to put in his civic.

I'm just suggesting a better alternative. It's a better investment than upgrading his stock engine. That is if you're OK with spendin 2k rather than just 1K.
