long story i started to write but stopped... in short:

i was shown up today, twice. by a '01? civic DX and a 03' RSX... i was with the civic, but the RSX murdered me. it made me wonder just what my stock del sol could do...

If you have a Del Sol VTEC and you got killed by an 01 non-Si civic, then there's something wrong with your car.

 

naw, i wasnt killed by the civic (it wasnt stock either). but it was on streets, and he was being a little agressive and i was being a little smart. he never beat me, but he was always with me the whole time, i thought the exact same thing... "why am i not killing this guy?" so its making me wonder just what i should expect. is there some place where i can just bring up the data on whatever i want to see?

 

If you couldn't blow away a D17A1/115 in a B16A3/160, then there really is something wrong with your car...or your driving style.

Sorry, but the RSX has got ya no matter what model it is.

 

I agree, there's something wrong or he has some serious mods. You should be able to beat a 99-00 Civic SI and the 03 Civic SI as well.

I dunno about the 2003 Si...being a hatch, it's gonna be lighter than the 99-00 Si coupe...but then again, it's a "hefty" car, much like the Sol is. I'll have to look up some numbers on that. It might have the Sol beat.

ok guys, i know i should kill the civic. i found out today it was stock and auto :wtc: ... that i know i should murder anyday, its my driving style- i fear cops. but my real question is what should i bother trying with and what should i not? i had a good feeling the RSX was gonna murder me, and i knew i should have killed the civic (and can, dont worry), but where can i find out the specs of cars so i can compare them to mine? knowing what i know now about the civic, i woulda floored it on him and left him looking at my tails... so where can i learn?

 

First off, if you're gonna race, race. I'm strictly anti street racing, but if you're gonna do it, don't hold back. Let him have what for and show him the great Sol's ass.
